Lip Blush Aftercare
The first two weeks decide the result.
After lip blush the colour looks dark and lips may swell for the first day or two, then begin flaking on days three to five. Do not pick. Colour appears to fade before returning in weeks three to four. Use only the aftercare product provided, avoid spicy food, and stay out of strong sun.
The timeline to expect
Days 1–2: colour reads much darker than the final result and lips may swell slightly. Days 3–5: thin flaking begins. Days 7–14: colour looks faded enough to alarm people. Weeks 3–4: colour returns and settles.
What to do
Apply the provided balm thinly, drink through a straw on the first day, and pat lips dry after eating.
What to avoid
Do not pick the flaking. No spicy or very hot food in the first week. No swimming pools or sauna. No lipstick until flaking has finished.
When to call us
Contact the studio and see a doctor if there is unusual swelling, pain increasing after day three, or any discharge.
